Writing About Sports in DFW

I have a new job - freelance sports writer in the Dallas/Ft. Worth area. This is a big step in my dream to be a full-time staff sports writer in the Dallas/Ft. Worth area. I'm extremely excited about the opportunity, and although I'm not completely happy with my work on my first story, I keep in mind I'm working out the rust of nearly two years of writing inactivity. And hey - it's soccer...not a forte in my sports repertoire. Let me know in the comments if the story can't be posted and I'll cut and paste it in here.
